MR HENNIKER HEATON
RECEIVES A BARONETCY. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, January 29. (Received January 30, at 9.30 a.m.) His Majesty has conferred a baronetcy upon Mr Henniker Ilea ton (cx-M.P. for Canterbury) in recognition of his eminent services in (he cause of postal reform. On two previous occasions he declined the honor of knighthood. Sir Henniker, who is one of the proprietary of the Sydney ' Evening News,' is at present paying a visit to his relatives in that city. (Received January 30, at 12.45 p.m.) It is officially announced that Sir Henniker IToaton's baronetcy was not included in the New Year's honors list owing to his absence in Australia.
