BAD GAS.
TO THE EDITOK. Sir,—Would you permit me. through your columns to ask why the consumers of gas are so badly treated? We are charged lor first-quality coal gas. but have unfortunately to pay for tue product of an air pump well diluted with water. Truly, the public are long-suffering. If the Corporation would put the new gasometer into working ome> throw out either the air pump or manager, or both, wo may have a chance of getting what we pay for.—l am, etc., Good Gas. August 4.
