FULLERS’ PICTURES. Tho Fullers will exhibit at tho Pnnoohb Theatre next week (Show Week) the pic ture of the King't Coronation and the attendant pageantry. The films were dc spate-hod by the first P. and 0. steamer after the event, and advice has been re ceived that they were chipped lor New Zealand per the Ulimaroa. which left Me! f ‘ bourne last Wednesday. Meantime this week’s programme, o which ‘ The Royal Divorce,’ ‘ Rove 1 Ascot,’ and ‘ The Investiture of the Prince of Wales * are the star exhibits continues to draw big business. The pre' sent programme will be screened finally to-night. ARCADIA PTOTURE~PALACK There is no question as to quality o the pictures nightly screened at Arcadia Picture Palace, Cargill’s Corner, and last night, when a change of programme was submitted, the seating capacity was in sufficient, many people being unable to gain admission. The programme is a capi tal one; in fact, not one picture could be called weak. ‘ Rose Leaves,’ a drama bv tho Vitagraph Company, is, perhaps, one of the company’s best productions. The acting is superb, and the many pretty scenes are beautifully portrayed. Othei dramas were ‘Puritans and Indians' ■Cowboy and the Squaw, ’‘Won in the Desert,’ etc., while of tho comic picture; ‘The Menhaters’ Club’ is one of the fun niest wo have seen, and it evoked shriek; of laughter from the audience. A large number of comic and scenic films vrci. also included. At the children’s matinee this afternoon there was a splendid house, and besides screening special pictures for the children, each child received a prize. The same programme will be presented to-night. ROLLER SKATING. There was a Large attendance at Bin Masonic Rink Last evening. The orchestra will play a specially-arranged programme to-night! Mackenzie has consented to give his illustrated lecture on ' Explorai tions in New Zealand’ at the Early Settlors’ Hall on Wednesday evening. The Mayor will preside. In addition to the lecture, a number of orchestral and other musical items will be rendered, and the Pipe Band will play the hon. gentleman to the hall. No one is better qualified than Mr Mackenzie to deal with New Zealand exploration, for he has explored almost every corner of tho country. He took a leading part in the search for Quinton 1 MTvinnon and Professor Mainwaring I Brown, of Otago University, and has discovered many passes and mountains in Western Otago and Fiordland. The lecture will be illustrated by kinematographic and limelight views of th© Sounds, Mount Cook cold lakes, hot lakes, Waitomo caves.
