The Maori team's match against Auckland has been -cancelled, at the request of Mr Parata. North Otago and South Canterbury meet on August 10. Mr ft. F. Wilson will act as manager of tho South Island Combined Country Union's team, who play a representative Ota-go fifteen on Saturday week. Manawatu play Canterbury (Association game) at Christ-church for the Brown Shield on Saturday.
