To-day Rear-admirals Schroedcr and Murdoch and the officers of the American battleships now in British waters, Mr Balfour, Air Whitelaw Reid (United States Ambassador), and Lord Strathcona (High Commissioner for Canada), had luncheon with the Lord Mayor at the Guildhall. Eight hundred of the rank and lile will be entertained to-morrow.
