'Hie Welsh Church Commission report that the population of Wales is 2,012,917, and that the church and chapel sealings accommodate 1,972,602. The Anglicans provide a church for every 1,080 of the population, and the Nonconformists a chapel for every 450. The Commission slate that Wales is overchnrched, and that the clergy are underpaid. One-third of the CongregationalLst ministers receive under £C3 a year. There are 195,000 Anglican communicants, being 23 per cent, of all the communicants. The report does not touch on the question of disestablishment and disendowment.
