In the course of an address to the AntiGambling League, the Premier (Air Verran) said that, so far as his own feelings were concerned, he would put the totalisator away to-morrow. The State was progressive enough to do without the 2j per cent, ■which cam© from the machine. He intended to move for a Royal Commission to inquire into the whole question of the prevalence of gambling in ilie State.
