. MR KETR HARDIE'S VIEWS. WANTS ALL~OR NOTHING. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LOITDON, March 14. Speaking at Swansea, Mr Keir Hardie, M.P.. said that some arrangement was possible for allowing fhe Government to drag out a tolerated existence beyond June, but the Labor party must not meanwhile be content simply to act as props to tho Government, and must be careful lest they were buried in the ruins. With reference to the threatened contest at Mid-Glamor-gan, where Mr Hartshorn, a Socialist, is in the field, he said that rather than hold seats by the grace of the Liberals or Tories, ho preferred that Labor should bo without seats until it won them by its own strength. MR HEATON HONORED. LONDON, March 14. (Received March 15, at 8.5 a.m.) Both political parties in Canterbury offer Mr Henniker Heaton to re-elect him unopposed if ho will reconsider his decision to retire from Parliament.
