service at Musselburgh

The first of the religious services for tile Presbyterian residchts of Musselburgh was held _in the Masonic Hall, St. Hilda, last evening. There was a good attendance, Oont thirty-five to forty beilig present. Ine Roy. D. Borrie conducted the service, ms subject being ‘ Tho Love of God. ’ Aliss Larth led tho service of praise on the organ. 'The Committee met afterwards and made snndty araiigementa.

FREE KINDERGARTEN ASSOCIATION. Kindergarten Committee Airs Gilkisoii presided. Favorable reports wore received from all the schools. Suggestions from the directress (Miss Ensom) in respect to Lhnstmas trees for the children at tho Minimi break-up, were approved of bv the n A S‘ ft of h;lt Pegs for’Yaralla School was received with thanks from Mrs Ulrich. treasurer acknowledges receipt of the following subscriptions :—R. Wilson and Co., a friend, Donald Reid, J. Wither, Aliss Shand, Mrs D. Edwin Booth, £1 la each; Dr Williams. Airs J. Garden, Airs Moritzson Airs Shrirnptcn, Airs Dermiston, 10s 6d each; Alias Paterson, AH Barnett, Mr Dempster, Air Todd, Rev. Cameron. Mr Jeffery, Mrs Fitzgerald, Rev. Mr hairclough, Alias M'Kellar, Airs Kero Airs Snns Mrs Milk, Alias M. S. Baird;'Miss A. Baird, 5s each. There, with smaller subscriptions, bring tho.total receipts for che month up to £lB 5s 2d.
