(Received October 9, at 9.5 a.m.) Home Office statistics sjiow that the smn of £2,080,672 was paid in 1908 to compensate disabled workmen and the dependents of those killed in seven great industries. There were 3,447 fatalities and 325,484 disablements out of 7,612,753 employees.
