Twenty-five girl workers in a dynamite factory at Benevento were terribly injnred as the result of a cauldron of phosphorus catching alight. The girls rushed into the streets with their hair and clothes aflame. A similar accident occurred at Milan, where fifteen workmen and a passer-by were horribly burned through the explosion of boiling tar from a cauldron, the lid of which became jammed. SYDNEY, October 7. Sharp, one of the victims of the explosion in the East Sydney Chemical Company's premises last Monday, is ’dead.
