Mr Arnold gave notice to ask the Minister of Railways wtiy it has been decided not to grant delegates attending the Trades and Labor Councils Conference the usual railway concessions, and if he will reconsider the piatter. The member for Dunedin Central is also urging the Government to favorably consider the question of erecting an astronomical observatory in Central Otago.
