Third grade: Athletic (11) beat Zingari (3), .Celtic (23) beat Timaru (nil), Geraldine (11) beat Pirates 16), Temuka and High School byes. ; On the Caledonian Ground the University and Southern teams meet, and this should prove a fast, open match. The students have strengthened their team somewhat since last Saturday. R. Ongley will be found playing in their three-quarter line, and Seed and Hart gill will strengthen the forward division. The Southern team are the same as last week, when they gave a good exhibition of the back game. At Carisbrook the Alhambra meet the Zingari and Kaikorai the Pirates.
