LODGE MEETINGS.
The Valley True Blues (Protestant Alliance Friendly Society of Australasia) held their fortnightly meeting in Albany Street xlaJl, all the officers and a good attendance of members and visitors being present. One candidate was initiated. Bro. Banks read a lengthy report on the Grand Council held in Wellington. The report was received, and a hearty vote of thanks was passed by the lodge to the delegates (Bros. Banks and Andrews) for their good work m Wellington. The balance-sheet, which was read and adopted, showed the lodge to be in a good position, and slowly increaamg both in numbers and financially The Loyal Dunedin Lodge, M.U., held their fortnightly meeting in the M.U. Hail, Stuart street, a full muster of members bei"j orceeut. and n.M. 1 ro. C H West presiding.' The district officers paid an official visit. P.G.M. Wood introduced, D.P.G.M. M-icDjugall, who vw* ppomted to that office at the last annual meeting. On behalf of the Loyal Dunedin Lodge P.G.M. Wood presented D.P.G.M MaeDoagall with a gold star.
