LETTERS CONDENSED.
“Another Disgusted Resident” endorses the statements of “Disgusted Resident” in reference to the fines inflicted by Mr Widdowson, S.M., for trespass on the railway line at St. Leonards. “Tho privileges we have enjoyed for the last thirty years have been ruthlessly taken from ns, and our children are mulcted in fines far in excess of what their offence deserves. ... As for the lads who caught a 31b tront in the harbor, I understand their fishing expedition will, cost them £30.” The residents of St. Leonards are np in arms.
