MORE NEWS WANTED. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright, MELBOURNE, November 3. (Received November 3, at 10.45 a.m.) The second annual conference of the Australian Country Press Association passed resolutions favoring . a penny press cable rate, and that a scheme of cabling Commonwealth news to the London papers at tho Government’s expense be developed in the direction of having important news similarly wired from Ixmdon to the Australian States. It was further resolved that the Commonwealth rate be reduced to the basis of the New Zealand rate.
