SHORTAGE OF CATTLE

(Received June 19, at 8.14 a.m.) The shortage of cattle in North America has caused a 20 per cent, increase in the price of beef in Berlin and Paris. The retailers in London are urging Lord Carrington (President of the Board of Agriculture) to relax the restrictions on the importation of live cattle.
