ALLEGED PERJURY.

[Pbb United Press -Association.] WELLINGTON, June 19. A young man, John Cameron, was some time since fined £5 before justices of the peace for using obscene language to a barmaid in a hotel. In giving evidence Cameron absolutely denied the allegation being supported" by two mates. The Crown instituted proceedings for perjury, and the magistrate committed Cameron to the District Court. A charge against one of his mates is proceeding.
