PARIS, June 26.
The Chamber of Deputies, at the instance of M. Clemcnocau (tho Premier), has postponed tho discussion on the Bill providing for the abolition of the permanent courts-martial. Tho Premier remarked that at present neither the Chamber nor tho Government had the necessary selfpossession to undertake tho discussion. He added that certain disquieting acts bad been the cause of positive distress. All good Frenchmen desired tho maintenance of discipline in tho army, because if it were relaxed it vroiikl bo all up-with France.— (Loud checre.)
Some protests were made from the Extremo Lefl.
[The Premier, in his announcement of the Government's policy on November 5, said that among tho various military reforms they would undertake would be the suppression of courto-martial.]
