Partly on account of the plague in Anstialia, the local health officers, under Dr Dgston, are at present engaged in making i. house-to-house inspection. Tho inspectors have just concluded an inspection of tb» bouses in Mornington, where a number of requirements were ordered to be attended to. An extra inspector has been put on, and he is at present engaged in tho North-east Valley Borough. The City is also undergoing inspection, and so is the country. Inspector Gladstone has visited Mansford Town and Balcitrtlta, and r *aow at Kaitangata.
