The month of December, which along with its smiling sister January is tho proper and popular tourist- time in the country, is about to be ushered in under the most delightful auspices. The crops, it is true, are shrivelling up, but the country, with its gardens, its fruits, and flowers, and, equal to all, those glens and cosy river and beach sides shaded by fragrant trees and overhanging rocks, is looking its possible best.
