THE REGATTA.
TO THE KlitlOß.
Sir, —As our annual regatta i« close on us once, more, and straight racing is to bo the order of the day. I would like to ask the Committee if they could sec their way clear to have the rowing boats come from the shods to the ilagsbip and paddle down to the starting post from there, so that the public (especially tho visitors from the country) could* see the boats and crews that are going to start in the different races, particularly in the senior events. It would not affect the crews or hinder them, but would be greatly appreciated by the public. 1 hone that the Regatta Committee will give effect to this suggestion.—l am, etc., SCIT.I.EB. December 19.
