The Manawatu Rifle Association’s annual meeting opened with seventy-five competitors, including all the crack shots of the North Island. The first match (200 yds and 600 yds) was won by Sergeant Perrin, with a score of 68. Other leading scores ;—-Winslade 69, Cron 66, Jas. M'Kenzio. Tyle, Henry, Manett, and Hawson 65 each.
