THE WESTLAND ELECTION.
THE FULL RETURNS. HOKITIKA, Jnly 16. The final result of the Westland election is : Seddon, 2,403. Michel, 1,683. Majority for Seddon, 720. Number on the roll, 4,484. Mr Seddon is remaining on the Coast for the present, and is now engaged yisiting various parts of the constituency. He will be entertained by the ladies of the district during the week. A meeting of Mr Michel’s supporters will be held this evening for the purpose of recognising the manner in which he conducted the campaign.
