SUICIDE.
WELLINGTON, July 16. A laborer named Charles Charman, aged fifty, who was suffering from incurable cancer (of the stomach, shot himself dead with a revolver at the Victoria Home for chronic invalids. The man had suffered great pain, and the doctors gave him only a little longer to live. A verdict of suicide while suffering greatly from an incurable disease was returned.
