THE WESTLAND ELECTION.
. GREYMOUTH, July 14. Great interest centred here in the byeelection. About 2,000 people assembled outside the Greymouth ' Evening Star' office and waited there till all the available returns were in. The result was watched with the keenest interest, and as the various polls were posted loud cheers were given for each candidate.
