The Physical Deterioration Committee have presented a report, in which they say that there in no evidence of any widespread progressive deterioration of tho English people, but that there are considerable classes physically degenerate, chiefly the inhabitants of the shuns. This latter is duo bo overcrowding, dninkenness, vice, improper feeding, cigarette smoking by children, and excessive tea drinking.
