'Life' for July is full of all sorts of information upon most things iu which we are interested. Books, politics, war, travel, story, criticism, cartoon, portrait help to fill up 130 pages of most readable matter. The magazine is a multum in parvo, and a veritable mine of wealth for the normal manbusy or not busy. The editors have been fortunate in securing an article from Paderewski. The article is illustrated by a very fine study of Paderewski by CharlesNuttall. Mr I lecher's account of how a great newspaper 13 run will also be read with special int--<-'it. We have received from Professor B.r a pamphlet entitled 'The Evidence an. of the Theory of Impart.' We acknowledge from Senator St&ufo l Smith a pamphlet by H. B. Bignold entitled Jhe Control of the Pacific Route.'
