Of these, 1,362,000 have been shipped oversea. A plagued rat has been discovered in Darlington. An explosion in the refrigerating engine room of the steamer Coolgardie killed Thomas Charlton and wrecked the engine room. The hull is not damaged. Ihe weather is bitterly cold, and t here is snow in the Southern highlands. MELBOURNE, May 25.
