BIKE-RIDING AFTER HOURS.
TO THE EDITOR Sir, —Re “ Pharos’s ” letter on “Fair Shines the Moon,” I should like to make a few suggestions on bike-riding at If “ Pharos ” were unable to see the young lady on her bike, I think that it was'either c- rales’ r dm? or blindness. Perhaps Pharos” would like the road to be twice the width, or would he like fireflies to light the wayj If he is unable to look after himself, I should like to advise him to stay in at nights. The street lamps were r.ot required on Monday night last; therefore I put it down to carele.-s riding. Accidents will happen, because I have been run down bv a cyclist myself in broad dayliaht.—l am, etc., ’ Eyes in my Head. May 25.
