STUDD'S UNITED MISSION.

Mr Studd’s evangelistic mission in South Dunedin commenced last evening in the Town Hall. The attendance fully justified the efforts that have been made to make the mission known, nearly every bouse in the Flat having received a neat invitation card announcing the meetings. Mr Stodd. who took as his subject “Behold, I stand at the door and knock,” was listened to attentively, while the speaker displayed a good deal of capacity to “ grip ” his bearers The singing, led by a united choir, was bright and hearty, and tbe chorus of ‘Joy beDs,’ one of Mr. Stnddr own selection, manifestly “ caught on ” at cnee. To-night’s subject, as announced elsewhere, will be ‘From the Cricket Reid to Calvary/ when Mr Studd, who is a member of the well-known English cricketing family of that name, will give an account of his own conversion.
