The final events of this tournament were concluded yesterday afternoon. " The'atI tendance was small, most of the visitors haying left by the/ morning' train. Canterbury ha? again carried all the honors, having won the debate, athletics, and tennis sports. Next year the ' carnival will be hejd at Wellington, when the defeated teams feel confident of T recovering some qf the prestige they have all lost to the winners. Results: — COMBINED CHAMPIONSHIP j doubles: ! Best of 3 sets. Miss Barker and Stowe (C.C.) beat Miss War£ and Bundle <Otago), 6—2, 6—l. • Miss Barker and Stowe (C.C.) scratched to Miss Baldwin and Rice (G.C.). Final Round. Advantage Sets.
