LATE COMMERCIAL.
A movement is afoot to amalgamate the dairy factories in the Grre district, and the project .will assume definite shape about Easter. LAND SALE.' The Perpetual Trustees, Estate, and A gene;,- Company held a sale of sections at Broad Bay and North-east Valley at their rooms to-day. Sections 1, 2. and 3, block 1. and 1, 2, 3, and 8, block 3, Township of Oban, Broad Bay, were knocked down, after spirited bidding, to Mr James Dick at £l7O. Tile sections were sold in one lot, and the area was la 2r 3ip. Sections 6 and 7, block 5, in the some township, containing half an acre, fell to Mr Norgren, Broad Bay, for £lO5. Sections 11 and 12, block 3, Ascotvale, were knocked down to Mrs Brown for £59.
At the Laud Office to-day four pastoral runs, being part of Patearoa Station, were submitted to auction. There was only a small attendance, and three of the runs were sold at the upset, the purchasers bein'? Messrs W. Hail, jun., P. M‘Atamney, and W. D. Taimahlll. There was no bid for the run passed in.
