Mr Chapman advised that there would be no difficulty at all about the matter, as the clause simply repeated the power which, the Drainage Board already possessed. The town clerk at once despatched a telegram to the Minister of Public Works intimating that the City Corporation were q ? t Prepared to comply with the request of the Drainage Board to have the clause inserted.
