(Received May 26, at 10.8 a.m.) There is a strong south-westerly gale on the coast, accompanied by blinding rain and hailstorms. Incoming vessels from the north experienced its full force. The recent abundant rains have greatly improved the crops, and prospects generally are reported much better than for some years. SYDNEY. May 26. Heavy weather prevails along the coast.
