In reply to the statements of the captain of the surveying ship Penguin as to the shoaling of Wellington Harbor, Mr Fer.guson, the Harbor Board's engineer, states that the Board knew of the shoaling, but did not think it was quite so serious as stated. ; ' Steps have been takan by the Board to cope -with it.
