MINISTERS IN AUCKLAND
The Premier was entertained at a garden party by the residents of Rotorua m the sanatorium yesterday. Mr Seddon said there was undoubtedly a great future before. Rotorua. It as already a great success, and it behoved the Government to see that nothing essential to the prosrress of Rotorua was left undone. The Hon. W. Hall-Jones returned to Auckland last night from a tour of inspection of North Auckland lands and railway works, having visited Maungaturoto, Whangarei, Kawakawa, Russell, and Waipu. He was most favorably impressed with the possibilities of the north, and is the first >Unister of tie Crown that has jwased
through the Waikiekk Valley, in Paparoa County. He leavea to-morrow morning for the terminus of the Main Trunk Railway, and wfll ride overland, connecting with rail for Wellington.
