LONDON, September 29.
(Received September 30, at 9.15 a.m.) The Imperial Tobacco Company have purchased the American Tobacco Company's British interests, including Ogden's, Limited. Both rivals have formed a British company, with a capital of six millions, to be called the British-American Tobacco Company, for the purpose of the amalgamation of such of their business as is outside Great Britain and America.
