LIBERAL LABOR FEDERATION.
.- TO THE KDITOa. Sir/r-As a meiflber of the above Fedeia* tion, I also have to complain of the underhanded manner fat which the Executive have carried <grt their choice of candidates. The constitution contains a danse which says any person asking for the support of the. Federation shall give a written' pledge, if not selected, to retire in jfavor of thosb nominated. To repeal that danse four* ! teen days’ aothjb pwst be given, and a special meeting called for, the purpose. 1 That danse has (not been revised, and no I pledge disked for. Hie Executive recom- ' mended Messrs Millar, Arnold, and Ghis- ! holm to a meeting of about thirty—a meet- ; ing composed of Mr‘ Chisholm, his rela»--tions, mid workmen.- Of course they were’ unanimous; but where do the other members of the Federation come in. Sold—illegally sold} and Mr Chisholm gets the nomination. The Executive members are doing 1 all they can to create a split in the Labor vote, knowing that that is the only hope for their nominee. If the workers in the electorate will only stand shoulder to shoulder, as they ■ did at last election, Messrs Arnold,' Barclay, and Millar, Will win,-— l am, etc., Unionist. September 27.
