MR REID IN OPPOSmON. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright MELBOURNE, September 26. (Received September 26, at 9.43 a.m.) The Federal Treasurer proposes to issue a half-million loan locaQj. Mr Reid, in Ufe course of his speech on the Budget, traversed the, whole programme of the Ministry. He said that in the first place it wa a too extensive, and in the second resolution was wanting to carry it through. He blamed the Queensland politicians for the present discontent. They knew tW. black labor was a vital question, and they should have made some efforts to safeguard their interests in the Constitution. They well knew that do Federal Parliament would allow colored labor to strike root in Australian soil
