(Received September 26, at 9.8 a.m.) The ‘ Financial News ’ repeats its assertion that the Government have resolved to take over the South African Chartered Company. [Rhodesia is at present administered under a Royal Charter, granted to the British South Africa Company in 1889, subject to certain Orders-Ln-Council issued at different periods. It includes all the country lying between the north and west of the Transvaal, the 22nd degree of south latitude, and the southern boundaries of the Congo Free State. Its eastern and western boundaries touch the Portugese and German spheres of influence.]
