VICTORIAN LABOR COMMISSION.

CHRISTCHURCH, April 7. The Victorian Labor Commission started tftking evidence in Christchurch this morning. The witnesses examined so far are George Bowron (of Bowron Bros., tanners and fellmongers), George Blackwell (managing director of the Kaiapod Woollen Company), and F. Waymouth (managing director of the Canterbury Frozen Meat Company). The witnesses agree with the principle of the Conciliation and Arbitration Act, but advocate certain amendments, especially in the reconstruction of conciliation boards.
