The Dart Itiver Gold Dredging and Prospecting Company (for whom Mr Moore appeared) v. liobe'rt J. Palnton (South Dunecrin).—Claim, £1 5s lOd, on a call due. —Judgment bv default, with costs. Paterson and Barr (for whom Mr Wilkinson appeared) v. Alexander Williamson.— Claim, £lO 10s, cm a promissory note.— Judgment by default, with costs. Jessie Dodds (for whom Miss Benjamin appeared) v. Michael Doyle.—Claim, £l, on a judgment summons.—After hearing the evidence of the defendant His Worship dismissed the case.
Hondai-Lanka Tea Company (for whom Mr Irwin appeared, instructed by Messrs Duncan and MacGregor) v. John H. Anderson (Temuka).—Claim, £4 _3s Id, for tea supplied. —Judgment was given by default for £3 17s Id, with costs.
