The accident happened in the vicinity of Wilson’s Promontory The disabled steamer was picked up next day. BRISBANE, February 17. When the Prosperity struck her boat was washed away. The crew took to the rigging, and remained there all night. When the vessel broke up they were thrown into the sea, and, with the exception of the mate and cook (whose names are unknown,), they managed to reached the shore.
