At Auckland Ivy Victoria Fransham, a child, was choked by a plum stone. <A verdict of accidental death was returned.

Adam Dryden, one of the co-operators working at On game (Auckland), was working on a cylinder bridge, when by some means he missed his footing, and, lading into the river, was drowned. Dryden leaves a widow and five children.
