THE LADY ROXBURGH.

TO THB EDITOB. Sir,—ln your Stock Exchange Notes of yesterday's issue you referred to the slow progress of the Davis Bend Company ; but I think the directors of the Lady Roxburgh Company hold the palm for slowness. The following figures are taken from the statement of affairs of this company : —The company were registered on March 3, 1900. The amount of expenditure for last year was £555 13s lOd (nearly five times that of the Davis Bend. Total expenditure since registration is £837 6s sd. I hope that you will use your influence to get this company pushed on in a more energetic manner in the future than has been the case in the past, or let it go into liquidation.—l am, etc., L. Sihtiik. February 4.
