SMELLS.
TO TEfc EDITOR. Sir, —Can anyone inform mo when there will be an abatement of the nuisance arising from the bay round Logan Point? People living tit "the top of Maori Hill might reasonably hope to breathe a wholesome atmosphere, but for some days past all my household have been poisoned to the extent of nausea by the stench from th« bay. There seems to be no escape from it. It is wafted up in volumes. Can anything be done? —I am, etc., T.T.W. February 4.
