"OUR NAVY."

It is in accordance with the fitness of things that incidents closely interwoven with Great Britain's National Insurance Company, as her Navy has been aptly dubbed, should have a peculiar fascination for the English-speaking race. It w<w therefore not surprising that there was a large attendance at the Princess s Theatre last night, when an exhibition of fifty moving and over thirty stationary pictures depicted with realism the several phase* af life of our “ boys upon the sea. The series of pictures shown hy Mr Charles Macmahon in this biograph entertainment may be described as the largest, clearest, and best of their kind yet displayed in Dunedin, and the constant applause which was heard last evening proved unmistakeably how public opinion endorsed this view. Another display of naval pictures wiQ be exhibited this evening, on which occasion the members of the Otago Yacht Club will be present. For Wednesday a matinee has been arranged. Those who have not yet seen this highly interesting and enjoyable entertainment should not neglect to do so, as the season close# on Wednesday night.
