NELSON, February 3,

Apparently the Cabinet have determined to push on the Midland line with greater expedition than has been the case in the post. Sir Joseph Ward's recent declaration a.t Reefton to that effect was emphasised by the Premier to-day when he said it was the desire, of those charged with the administration of affairs to prosecute this work, and see that justice was done to the Nelson district as well as to the colony.
