NELSON. February 3.
The Fremier goes on to Levin in connection .with some irrigation works on Wednesday, and then proceeds to Carterton to attend the Liberal banquet to Mr Tfornsby, the member for the district. He returns" to Wellington immediately thereafter, and goes on to Lyttelton to attend Iho send-off to the South Island spction <>f the Eighth Contingent. Sir J. G. Ward proceeds to Lyttelton on Thursday to be present at this function, and then goes on to Invercargill, proceeding to Auckland vi;i Cheviot and Blenheim.
